comments [re: final battle]

I couldnt believe the "exaggeration" comment. I remembered immediately him saying that. I took it with a grain of salt at the time but Heather was pretty pissed off. Some of their strongest moments have been shown to be completely false.

I never implied that there was a connection between 9/11 and Iraq.
FALSE

I dont think I own a timber company. Do you want to buy some lumber?
FALSE

I dont think I ever said I wasnt worried about Osama bin Laden. Thats one of them exaggerations.
FALSE

I also couldnt believe that Bush stole the moderators question and changed it into "will you have a litmus test for judges?" Just state the new question at the beginning of your answer.

Seperate item:
Do you think that Strategic Vision is getting so many polls out on the internet to skew the battleground state numbers? A lot of sites do their state projections by putting together recent polls. Strategic Vision is always far skewed to Bush. They get included (along with Rasmussen) and viola a close state becomes "Leans Bush." Are they trying to create a reality? Self fufilling prophecy type of thing?

It wouldn't surprise me. Think about how much these daily poll numbers affect our outlook... they definitely create conventional wisdoms that probably don't even exist. You know political operatives are highly aware of this and are surely pushing any boundaries they can to keep the numbers on their side.

As Public Enemy once said: "Can't truss it! No no no no!"
