I wanted to apologize to my one regular reader (and the daily throng of Google-searchers looking for info on freedom of assembly) for dropping off of the planet...

The only excuse that would hold up in court is that I got a new job (finally) and have been pretty swamped by it. It's funny how after extended unemployment you're desperate to work again, but after a few weeks of work you suddenly remember how great unemployment actually was, except for the "being broke" part.

The truth is I'm also doing some brainstorming about the site, kind of a couple month review. This is the most consecutive writing I've done in my life, and I'm discovering that written communication is a bitch. I guess I just haven't been thrilled with how it's turning out, and I've got some ideas that I think will take the site in a direction I'll be more happy with.

I should have the tweaks finished and things back in business fairly soon.
