Jon Stewart took some time away from his busy schedule of "saving journalism with a fake news show" last Friday to bitch-slap the Crossfire team on CNN.

It was so beautiful I wept.

UPDATE: According to an AP story today, it looks like the Carlson clan and the Stewart clan are now a-feudin'! Well, more like Tucker Carlson just showing his ass after being completely humiliated on his own show for 15 straight minutes:

"I thought that he looked ridiculous," Carlson said in an interview Monday, "and I think the tape makes that clear."

He must be banking on nobody actually taking him up on it and watching that tape, because damn.

It's just so funny to see Tucker and the other pundits who have scrambled to his defense try to belittle Stewart and justify their own existence when they clearly just can't handle being called out for personally poisoning American journalism. Stop trying to kill the messenger, fellas...

UPDATE II: CNN has announced that it will be canceling Crossfire and cutting ties with Tucker Carlson. Deeeeeeeaaaamn!
