Okay, so it has finally sunk in that Arnold actually won the recall election in California. I can't say I'll weep for the loss of Gray Davis... but watching the televised debate last week, I couldn't help but marvel at how inarticulately Arnold said absolutely nothing. All of the other candidates, regardless of party, were running circles around him. I guess the voters have spoken, though, and once again I'm at a loss as to what they could have possibly been thinking.

But hey, if you're a Californian and would sleep better with a juicy conspiracy theory to drown out the possibility that your next-door neighbors have lost their minds, maybe the whole thing was just rigged...

Oh well, at least the circus is over.
